Stabilized Alpha Trimeric Spike Protein
Produced in CHO cells. Available in mg to grams. The Alpha variant, also known as B.1.1.7., was emerging as a VOCs after a mutation in the spike protein D614G, was recognized as possibly affecting the infectivity in people in an enhanced way. The Alpha variant carried this mutation and others, for example, N501Y, and was considered 40-80% more transmissible than the original “Wuhan” strain.
